Subpart 2 - Rural and Low-Income School Program

Formerly known as Title VI, Henry County School System receives the Rural and Low-Income School Program (RLIS). It is a formula grant that provides financial assistance to rural districts to meet local academic needs. Our district uses Title V to support programs and activities authorized under Title I, Part A, Title II-A, Title III and parent and family engagement activities.. RLIS funds a variety of activities including teacher recruitment and professional development, support for educational technology, parental involvement activities, kindergarten readiness programs and more.
