It is my honor to serve the community of Henry County as the Director of Schools. As a long-time educator in Paris/Henry County, I am committed to education in Henry County. We strive to provide our students and families access to the most skilled professional educators available. We take pride in our offerings in the areas of academics, athletics, arts, and social/emotional supports. About Dr. Watkins:

• Married to her husband Buck Watkins since 1997

• Has two children, Alexus Watkins Gordon and Berrett Watkins

• Enjoys gardening, reading, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her family

Professional Experiences:

• 20+ years in education

• Graduate from UTM and Union University

• Served as a teacher, principal, instructional supervisor, and as of the 22-23 school year will be in her 7th year as a Director/Superintendent of Schools

• WestStar Leadership Graduate

• Northwest Superintendent of the Year

• Jim Henry Leadership Award recipient

• Legislative Representative for the NorthWest Superintendents' Study Council

• Member of the Paris Rotary Club

• Member of the Henry County 911 Board

• Member of the Henry County Health Council

• Member of the Henry County Foster Care Review Board
